Cover Shot, San Clemente Magazine

John Merlino is proud to announce his latest achievement, the cover shot on San Clemente Magazine coming on the next issue. It was taken from the beach one evening at dusk while I was waiting for my daughter to come in from her evening session at T-Street. Our coastline and sky produce some pretty amazing works of art so I fully took advantage of this one. I know what you are going to say, he doctored it, he used Photoshop to enhance it. Well that is simply not the case, this shot was taken at around 5:50 pm, using my Canon EOS 1D Mark III Camera equipped with a Canon EOS 70-200 Lens with stabilization on. It was set at F-2.8 with an ISO setting of 100 and a speed of 250. I simply got lucky that god started the BBQ at this particular moment.
